Administrators of the federal government social intervention scheme, N-Power have revealed that information would be made available at the right time on the opening of its portal for fresh applications.
Recently, rumours had been circulating on social media that the scheme has started receiving applications for 2019.
However, checks by our correspondent reveal this is not true as the scheme is yet to open its portal for fresh applications.
Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede who is the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on job creation and youth employment, office of the Vice President, while addressing a live Facebook chat on February 20 however hinted that the portal will re-open after the elections.
He added that specific information will be made available once the process begins.
He said this in response to a specific question on when the portal will open to receive fresh applications.
“The next recruitment Princess Chiamaka you want to know when the portal will be re-opened for the next recruitment, well you will know. Portal re-opening is all tied to continuity, it is tied to Next Level so if you want the portal to be re-opened you go out on Saturday 23rd and vote Mr. President. Vote massively for Mr. President and you can be sure that after the elections we will re-open the portal.” Imoukhuede said
